Da Civic left me STRANDED!
OK this is weird man! The civic left me stranded and i had to have it towed back home at 11:00pm because we were in a bad part of town. I had no problems driving it before but when i came out of Target it would not start.
Click, Click, nothing. I know i was getting power cause i could turn on the radio and blast the amp (12' sub in back) lights came on. I checked all of the fuses with a tester and nothing. I figured.... first hot day of the year, vapor lock maybe, nope it was not that cause it has not started since.
The only thing that was weird about it was that i could put the car into each gear without pressing the clutch when it was off. If that normal? Then when i try to start it nothing. It just click as if something is blocking the signal from getting to the starter. I know that the starter is not bad bause they go bad gradually (right?) not right away. I'm stumped and i'm without my baby.
Somebody help. Oh and p.s. there was axle grease all over the inside of my right front rim - you know what that means...CV boot is gone. Crap!

as to your problem.. maybe the main fuel relay? hondas have a problem with those when its warm out..

The main relay is near the in-cabin fuse box.
If this were your problem, your car would still crank but not turn over. Main relay problems are usually caused by dry solder joints and brought out by weather fluctuations. They usually make it so your car won't turn over until it has cooled down a bit. Sometimes if you tap the main relay you can get it to start.

sounds really stupid, but its worth a try.
I got out after driving my civic, parked it at school. After school was over I went to start the car and all i got was a "click click" except it was just the relays clicking. After firguring my battery is not dead (radio worked, bright lights) I checked all the fuses. After about 10 min i finally realized that that stupid little wire that just pushes onto a tab on the starter fell off. Put it back on and it fired right up...idk maybe check all wires going to the starter would be my first bet.

Had the same issues with an older car of mine. It was worn tabs on the starter. It would click... maybe one time in 20 it would start $10 replaced the tabs and it was golden again.
