Hey, I recently bought an HX with CVT tranny for my wife, only to find out later that CVTs are the worst transmissions Honda has made, and they frequently need work, mainly of the replacement type. I'm wanting to swap in a regular auto trans from another civic, (dx, lx, ex, whatever) but I was wondering if they are just swap right over, or if I have to do any custom work to get it on there? Or will I need a new ecu or something? Any help would be great. Thanks!
