I have a 2005 Civic Ex Coupe, I am wondering what upgrades I should do to this car to improve performance? I am new to the car world and I am willing to learn, I appreciate all comments and please keep in mind that I am a noob and do not understand all the shorthand descriptions.

Your 1.7l engine isn't a great engine to start out with.

There is basically only two ways to make good power out of your car.

The first is swapping the D series engine you already have out for a K series engine.

THe second is turbocharging your D series engine.

Both options are expensive and time involving. There isn't really any other options out there for the newer civics.

 

Thanks for the reply, I guess I will just have to live with the power I have. I got a real good deal on the car, so all in all I am happy with the purchase.
