Seatbelt Chime on '06 Civic
I have a 2006 Honda Civic Coupe. However, the seatbelt chime always goes off if I don't wear my seatbelt for around 20 seconds. How can I disable this? I want to completely remove that feature from my car. Thanks!

wear the seatbelt and you won't hear the chime.
if you want to die go ahead, it's your decision, it's illegal to operate a motor vehicle without wearing a seatbelt in most if not all states now, so this is most likely already a violation of the TOS
there is no reason not to wear a seatbelt, wear it and you will get used to it.

I know I **should** wear the belt...but I choose not too.. thats my choice...I should not have to hear a darn beep every 5 seconds. I just do not like wearing a seat belt....various reasons... reason does not matter... I was not looking for a course on the ethics and morality of self preservation.
How many of you that condemned me for not wearing seatbelt smoke? Each one takes a day off your life. How many of you drink alcohol? Each drink kills your brain cells. Better yet, how many of you follow this same path and walk up to smokers and educate them on the dangers of smoking??? I could go on and on....
This was a technical question regarding the ability to turn off the belt beeper... not a "tell my why I should wear my belt" plea.
The answer I guess is to go to a junk yard and buy the belt clip.

there is no reason.have you thought about the other people in the crash, say there was a complete accident and someone slammed into you and you died, imagine what it could do to that person. please, wear your seatbelt.
yes that should work. to answer your question.
