Default Key Replacment

Hey every I got a 96 ek hatch, and I think I might have screwed my self because I can not find my set of keys anywhere today, been serching for bout 5 hours and I am about to give up. My question is would I be able to give the honda dealership my vin/registration/title and have them cut a new key. Or do I need to have a locksmith come up and replace the iginiton, or cut new keys or what should I do? Thanks for any help.

Bring in paperwork to show that you are the owner of the car. Give them your vin # and ask to them to cut a key for you by code. It cost $15 at the dealerships in my area. While your at it, get a second set incase of emergency. Second set is cheaper too.
