rumor is that itb are hard to tune and you need an expert.

For the most part, yes. ITB's are very sensitive to fuel maps, and so unless you have lots of patience, a deep wallet [in case you really screw up] or lots and lots of time, it's best to have the base tuning done by someone who has been "down the road" before.

I'll be laying down the baseline maps myself, but after I get cams, I'll most likely be passing the keys over to Tom Payn at Payn Technologies to squeeze out as much power as possible. He's tuned several of these setups as well as having worked for Kinsler, so he knows all the tricks.

That is, unless Harry's got a dyno in his driveway by then.

LOL, I'm hardcore, but not that hardcore yet. I have a 2 1/2 ton floor jack and 2 3-ton jackstands here in my college apartment now just so that I can change tires quick and do my oil changes in the parking lot, lol.

i would think not. since the turbo/supercharger will already be ramming air into the manifold.

Only advantage would be marginally better throttle response, not worth it unless you're starting from idle EVERY time out and going for broke every single time the engine is started.
