Default Air Intake Question

I just put a short ram intake in my 95 civic yesterday, now today I got a crack in my radiator...when i was reading the instructions yesterday for the intake it said to drain some coolant....I did not do it!!!! i was thinking it was no point doing it. now today I had to change my radiator, now I dont know how much coolant to put back in it?..
Did i messed up my radiator by not taking some coolant off it?
how can I avoid this from happening again?

Drain coolant for installing an intake? I never heard that before.

i dont think it had anything to do with you installing the intake. i never heard of draining some coolant when you install an intake :eh: i think it was just coincidental.

You shouldn't have to drain anything. When I installed my intake, the only things that were touched were the intakes themselves.
