nah the current radio in it is the stock radio/CD player...so far the car is all bone stock. problem is..the warranty has run out, and honda dealers charge way too much to fix stuff. any ideas on what it could be?

Well, IMO the stock radio sucks anyway so this might be a good time to get some aftermarket HU in there. Taking off the bezel is one huge piece and PIA. As for your current issue, it could be a lot of things. The problems is electrical and Honda will charge you way too much. Since it's off and on, it can't be the fuse. I guess it could be the harness or the connection directly to the speakers. That's a tough one.
