There's a relay fan switch under the hood (next to the battery) so you might have to replace that. About 15 bucks at a parts store.

It's the little black box thats next to your battery.

Just ask a person behind the counter. They'll get it for you.

Though you might want to tell them about your overheating problem. There are other factors as to why your fan isn't coming on.

Also could be a bubble in the coolant system. I'd let the car cool down, open the radiator cap and run the car for about 30 minutes to get air out of the system. Then refill with necessary coolant.

I get ten bucks on your coolant temp switch....its a lil sensor that screws into your thermostat housing and tell the fan to turn on.....quick way to test if it is that or your fan is to unplug your fan and connect it directly to a 12v power source...if it turns on then it is 99% your fan switch.....that is the reason my fan stopped working and I have had to replace it on several friends cars as well.

Its that^^^ my car was doing the same thing. My uncle who is a mechanic walked me through the steps to get a bubble (well its called an airlock) out of the system and now its fine. My overheated all the time and the fans never came on even when the guage showed it was hot. After I did that and got the air bubble out my car has been fine since. Cheap fix. Only thing you may need to get is some more radiator fluid! Lates~

that still wouldnt be the reason why his fan isnt coming on. The fan is activated by a temp switch soooo an air bubble wouldnt stop it from working.

I have top agree with ^^^^^ the Sensor that activateds the fan is the Coolant Temp Sensor or water temp sensor (whatever u wanna call it?)
