i had two issues with my b16 the jiggle pin came out of my thermostat and the fan switch was dead like everyone said. so i replaced my thermostat which you might need to do and my fan switch like you do need to replace. also like what has been said take your fan connector located under the coolant resivoir and plug it directly into a 12v source with jumper wires and test it it might be your fan is bad. also if thier is air in your system theres alittle nipple coming off the thermostat housing (you cant see it in the picture) un screw it alittle and that will bleed the air out of the coolant system. here is a picture of my b16 fan switch.

i changed out the thermoswitch, fan switch, relay switch, checked all of my fuses and all of them are working, and i tested out my fan and it works.i guess im left with either the thermostat, and the head gasket.which one should i go with next, or what else could it be.

if your fan is not turning on, that is why you are overheating....take them one problem at a time.

ummmm...why wouldnt you have changed that first..:dunno: of course your fans wont come on if it is stuck closed because the thermoswitch is on the other side of the thermostat.
