Wanting to do b18b swap in 5th Gen Civic
#11
Thanks guys tremendously for your help thus far. My project will probably begin near spring break(college).
B4 i get it mistaken, i need the hydraulic tranny right and the correct one i need is from 92?/93? and up???
So the exhaust manifold will line up correctly to my stock Civic's exhuast??
I could use the integra's motor mounts without doin any welding or will there have to be some welding and modification?? If so, then i guess my only solution would be to spend $300-$400 xtra $$ for some motor and tranny mounts which is bull??
Hopefully i can get a 5 finger discount in the j/y for the ECU. In my Scort, ours is located under the radio. Where would the Teg ecu be located and will i need to just the ecu and not the wires connected to it???

Well there you have it, thanks guys >>Rico. I hope this thread answers any other b18b swaps for those interested also.
I found an 91 b18a motor for $550 wit 81K miles. I dont want to go thru the hassle of OBD converting, so i'ma keep looking since I'm OBDI.

I want to double check on every last thing i need. Also, i'm gettin a civic thats already 5spd cuz i dont wanna got thru the hassle again of another atx-mtx conversion. It was crucial enough(time consuming) on my escort as is!
