^^^ Very good description and to the point.

The B-Series engines are great and offer a good all round package and with so many people going to K-Swaps the infamous B-Series swaps are becoming cheaper and are pretty straight forward for install. Most J-Spec Engine guys are reducing their prices as well.

BUT...

With K-Series technology just by performing a basic K20A3 swap your already at the same HP as a B16 but way more torque and with this being the base engine available in North America they are reasonably priced, it's just all the extras that bring up the price of the swap i.e. K-Pro, Wiring, Mounts, etc... Expect over 220HP with K20A with I/H/E and a good tune; you have to really build the hell out of any B-Series to see anything close to that. The other thing I like about K-Swaps that most people don't even mention is how the weight in the engine compartment is shifted more toward the fire wall. If you look at your average B-swap EG the engine sits just ahead of the shock tower, where the K-swaps lean back and the head sits almost even with the shock tower. Just a little peice of useless info I guess

im gonna have to say yea, all d series can interchange, all b series can interchange, all h can, so i am "assuming" all the k shit should be able to be swapped as well

another question.. k20a2 pistons in a k20a3? raises compression to 11:1? by the looks of it the a3 with its stronger midrange.. k20a3 > k20a2
