2003 Civic Immoblizer Malfunction
Sister in-laws car was rekeyed (i believe with new tumblers and keys) a few thousand miles ago, drivers door began having problems opening a few weeks ago. It has activated the immoblizer system and locked the ign. key in the ign. switch. We were successful in removing the key by disconnecting the battery and then removing the key. The sad part is we can not reset the immobilizer system after removal of the key. Trying to restart the car only relocks the key in the ignition. Has anyone been successful in resetting the car and had the car restart w/o calling the dealer?
Thank You!
Thank You!
