carbolic and citric acid in coke, carbolic is what does the "cleaning." Coke has higher levels than pepsi.

Ironically the caramel coloring in Coke will also settle your stomach, despite the added acid.

just paint your rims black, you wont need to spend as much time cleaning them i had white cp-35's on the accord. i had to clean them once a week so they wouldnt stain. be careful with wheel cleaners, dont spray when the car is in direct sunlight, or if the wheels are hot. theyll damage the paint/clearcoat. the safest thing to use is car soap. gee... i wonder if anyone is actuallly gonnna read allll the way down this thread....


wait... so should i use coke to clean my black rims and sprite to clean my white ones??

I've used every wheel cleaner brand and I still end up scrubbing them as if I used nothing....yes MEGUIRES TOO!
