Default HID kit on OEM headlamps?

Is it possible to get an HID kit for EG OEM headlights? What is the size bulb for OEM headlights? H1,H2,H3,H4? Thanks.

H4. Make sure you use a cut-off with the HID kit.

You really don't want to put HIDs in the OEM housings. The output will suck.

So the best bet for oem would be some plain ol silverstars?

I have projectors right now. They are still in good shape, as far as light output and the halo rings are still lit well. I want to switch to oem for the winter which is why I asked.

I have the silverstars. They are perfect for me. Wouldn't want them any brighter, and they put out a white light instead of yellow or blue.

In winter (if you live where it snows) the stock yellower lights are better.

9003 is the same as H4.

and PLEASE do NOT put HID in stock halogen headlights!! If you're gonna go true HID, do it the right way and retrofit OEM HID projectors into a pair of lights!

I've done it. The HID's looked good in halogen housings. The only drawback is the lack of a true cutoff and there were a few hot spots. They were a hella lot brighter then halogens though. I just sold my kit.
