What is the offset of the wheels you are looking at?
th 40's are closer to the original factory size, but they're slightly shorter. the difference in the 45's are slightly greater than the 40, but i would always want to go on the taller side over the shorter side for odometer purposes and ride comfort.

Ok, thanks for the respones.

From what I got out of all that, was I will have a lesser chance of rubbing with 40's, but i wont have as much protection on the sidewalls as 45's?

I just checked my glove box. (92 EX sedan)
Im pretty sure a coupe and HB are the same, while sedans are different. I just checked mine, and it's 185/60R14 (95 EX Coupe)

there's no difference in sidewall protection between the two..

rubbing issues can handled in different ways.. rolling fenders, cutting fender lips, higher wheel offset...

What do you suggest for the wheel offset?

Good civic offsets are 40-45 (45 being the least likely to rub the fender)

Ok, 205/45/16 it's going to be then. Thanks for all the input.

Now I was talking to Civic2Scooby (well known here) and I was telling him how I am debating on getting the Rota Slips in Royal Gun Metal w/ polished lip or Flat Black. He chose RGM w/ polished lip....Can I get a little poll going here? Help me decide. Thanks

what color is the car. In almost any situation, im going to say black. Gun Metal/Polished lip is kinda over done.

My car is red. How do you think it's over done? Most people have said Gun Metal, over the flat black. I know it's my choice in the end, but I love both colors.
