Default WTF My Ride Needs HELP

Right now I love my dropped ride (2" 1/4) but it is killing my driveway hill and the bouncy oh man whiplash I need to be raised about an inch so I can put some 205/45/17 and to stop the bouncy.

I am on Nuespeed springs, Generic shocks, Falken 205/40/17 and Katana SKR Rims. Will Ground Control Coilovers help me get up an inch and save my driveway and save my damn neck from bouncing off my body.

Thanks all 4 da advice

you need better shocks. That is why it is bumpy

Thanks I guess generic was not smart. but I think I still need coilovers cause I am scraping my driveway so I need to come up an inch. I think new shocks, coilovers and 205/45 should do the trick you think? What about Ground Control Coilovers with some new stock shocks?

ground control are great. For shocks I recommend koni sports (yellows), but if they are outta your price range kyb isn't bad

don't get stock shocks, they won't last long. get kyb, koni, tein, tokico. Tokico are great shocks for the money. they have the illumina's which are 5 way adjustables and just regular blue's which are not adjustable but are set to be comfortable right out of the factory. throw the coilovers away and just get tokico springs with the shocks. many times they have deals for buying both.

So with Tokico illumina can I just keep my Nuespeed springs and adjust any height I want and still have REAL butt and neck comfort?

haha, illumina's are about $150 then the non adjustable blue's. I just got the blue's with springs and got everything for $350. I love riding on springs much more the coilovers. my car looks the like the exact same height but rides perfect. Adjustable shocks don't mean you can adjust the height. they mean you can adjust the stiffness/comfortability of the shocks.

Also having that size tire isn't going to help matters. GOing to a 205/50x15" or even a 205/45x16" will make the ride nicer.
