Getting all geared up to replace the motor in my car. Just a standard 92 Civic VX D15Z1. Found it used for $375 with 124K. Got a used trans with 92K on it for $250. Got a new clutch kit. All new ball joints, new water hoses (ALL hoses, I couldn't believe how much those hoses were from honda), putting on new water pump, timing belt, spool valve o-ring, distributor o-ring, plugs, filters, new brake rotors, and wheel bearings. Going to be turning the flywheel and brake rotors. Axles will be replaced under warrantee. Getting excited and a little nervous too. Hoping to do it all in two days on my driveway.

Sounds good man. You are doing all this yourself. Thats really amazing. I wish I am able to do all that stuff one day. I think 2 days is kidda short. I usually hear it takes 3 or 4 days. Post pictures when you are done please.

Too bad you didn't ask before buying. I would have recommended to you an all aluminum radiator instead of something with plastic endcaps like that.

I bought one of these for my Civic 96 EX auto from this seller.
So far it's good.

I hope to get pics up. I have done the transmission before but never all this stuff at once! It's going to be all stock/off the shelf stuff, but the first motor has lasted (and still runs great) for 425,000 miles (pizza delivery and LONG road trip miles). Lets see how much longer I can keep this car alive!

here are pics so far...These are the used parts I'm puting in. MANY new small parts. Yes, that is the Transmission on my apartments kitchen floor.
