Default Building motor

I got my stock z6 and was wondering how I could build it for a little speed. I plan on turboing down the line and I was wondering what are some things I could do to help gain some hp and speed that would work with the turbo. Maybe some good pistons, rods, valvetrain, cams, ignition, intake upgrades, etc. Maybe a Skunk2 IM, different throttle body. I heard a y8 throttle body is better than my z6, that true? Any help appreciated!

if ur planniing on building and boosting its a good idea to get ur cylinders sleeved.. i heard y8 IM is good too.. the air flows alot smoother in them..

stock sleeves are rated at bout 450hp if tuned properly.. put a block guard in there with some forged pistons / rods, that way they can handle the extra boost.
