New to Honda, Idle problems already!!

it jumps up and down moderatly, we checked to make sure it was plugged in or whatever, and it was. no vacum leaks, and i took it to a shop and they said its gata be the iacv. so im gona have to replace it!!!

It is the FITV if it fluctuates when cold and goes away when it is at operating temp.


It is the IACV if it fluctuates when it is at operating temp.


Best way to check is to remove your intake hose and expose your TB. When the car is at operating temp...plug the hole for the FITV with your finger. If it still has vacuum, your FITV plunger has backed out.
