Well, I believe the ocean will do that.. If your not carefull your car can get crabs... And thats a bitch to get rid of....

That sucks, but hey, now you'll have a much more fun car with that B18C! And watch out for aquatic ambushes.

That really sucks. Sorry to hear about that, dude.

I'm glad to hear you're upgrading to a B18C, though . Until now, I had no idea an engine with a short ram intake could ever ingest enough water to hydrolock. Are you going with a JDM or USDM engine?

Monsoon? I just moved to Tucson and was surpised how much rain comes down when it monsoons. The entire street in front of my apt. can get flooded in an hour or 2.

If it's flooding serious enough to hydrolock using the stock intake you may get insurance coverage on it. A friend of mine got a new engine via insurance after flash flooding up to her windows.

Insurance covered my hydrolock and I had a CAI on it. h:

Arizona, and all of the dry places, the ground does not soak up rain like it should, thats why it floods so easily.
