Default Clutch tips/tricks

First of all... what is double clutching? I've got an idea of what it is, but have never been told how to do it properly. Thats the only specific question i have, so if you have any other tips on how to drive a manual transmission that would be very helpful. Thanks.

Make sure you shift all the way at the track. If not you could break a axel seal, along with the metal seal around it.
Had to buy a new tranny.

:chuckles:

Only tip I have is to try and engine brake rather than coasting in neutral and then braking.

isn't double clutching when... ur going in 3rd or 4th and you want to shift into 2nd without jerking the car.. you just put it in neutral, rev it up a lil, and shift into 2nd and it should be smooth transition.. i think itz important for exiting turns n stuff like that

what's wrong w/ coasting in neutral and braking? wouldn't it save gas?
