Rice = any car with an identity crisis. Mixing parts from different manufacturers is a sure-fire way to qualify as rice.

If I saw a civic with a Subaru hood scoop, Supra wing or Shelby racing stripes... I would  no matter if the owner built it for himself or not. I guess that makes me a meany somehow, but I still wouldn't feel bad about laughing at it.

Poor misguided souls.

so putting a DSM turbo on your civic is rice?

just kidding i know what you mean, and i agree. stick with honda parts on honda cars. but the term rice is overused. you cant do anything to your car without it being called rice by someone else, so just do what you want, especially if you can make it functional. and make sure its worthy, so when an STi driver starts making fun of you, you can beat him.

Hmmm I'd like an Evo Style hood on my civic... for style, cooling, and weight reduction. All the Evo Style hoods i've seen look as they'd be horror in rainy weather, so if there's ones that would direct the water away from vital components while allowing hot air to exit the engine, i'd be allover it

I love the hood, who cares about other peoples opinions. Some love it, some hate it, get over it :closed:
