the only non-oem hoods i like are C/F hoods and that is because thay have a purpose: evening out the weight distribution. and even i only like them if the hoods style and color can match the flow of the car (ie black tint, black moldings/mirrors, black lights, and the c/f hood.. kinda flows..)

thats my opinion. if you like the looks: buy it. your the one driving it, not us.

well im gonna be makin the hood sometime this summer so i will let you know how it goes..

 

it would look nicer if u were to made it where it opens up and vents the air intake. my friend did this to his old crx. he made a mini scoop where the air intake filter was. it was small and subtle and gave a nice aggressive look to the car.

 

well i have a CAI so i cant do that.. if i get a SRI i might try that..

 

it'd look nicer if it were stock, or atleast clean looking.
I don't even like that scoop on an STi.

 

Well the STI scoop isn't just big for the intercooler, it is becuase it has sprayers filled with water to cool the intercooler, so a hoodscoop that big is not needed, but maybe a WRX scoop

 

well i like the look of the sti scoop better then the then the 03 wrx.. i prolly wont keep the hood when im done i will prolly end up selling it.. around here theres a lot of ricers that the closest thing to performance they come to is a muffler.. but they cant add a wide body kit and 8 foot spoiler.. so im sure itll sell
