whats considered recent and how would i be able to tell if its the thinner plate.. it looks like if u adjust the springs high like near stock level, u can run the risk of these snapping. i wonder if thats what happen to the 2 daily drivers that broke.

They are very much worth the purchase price.

But don't buy them thinking that you're getting an N1 suspension that'd normally cost $4500.

Omnipower got popular [sic] because the owner is a little, regular guy like us, trying to spend his life doing the things he loves.

He's a renowned builder in his own right.

They've been able to locate the batch of coilovers with the badly manufactured, thin parts.

Call Bob at Omnipower and give him the details of your order date, and he can tell you for sure whether or not you need to exchange.

If you bought a clucth master cylinder from this "company" you might want to ask about the recall on them also. I have a new quote that seems to fit this comapny, if you are still buy thier junk after 2 reaclls... well thats just silly.

Omnipower... we will get it right.. .eventually....

Koni's and you know that I am. They were cheaper than and Omni setup and probably with the shocks at full stiff will outperform the omni's even with the stock springs I have.
But even if I didn't run Koni's or I was looking for a new suspension I would not buy anything with the omni label after 2 reacalls on two differnt products for basically the same problem, bad manufactiruing and quality control. Espically when the company that had the problems is new to the market, and trying to estabish themselve, and I have to say they have certinaly done that.... in the wrong way.

Hey, atleast they ARE recalling, replacing, and refunding.

They have been "Voluntary" recalls up to this point. Yes, they were more or less necessary, but it did not take the law to force them to recall like many companies now.

Very True, but regardless, I am sure the people who have had issues are going to be jumping up and down to buy something else form them would you?
