What do you think happened? (water puddle)

Do you have the wheel liner?

You could have done a few things, with a short ram I'd doubt you hydrolocked your motor unless you submerged your whole front end in.

Pop your hood, open your fuse cover, take your distributor cap off and let them air out.

Do you have aftermarket plugs wires? If they are not tight fitting water can get down in the spark plug wells. If you see water down there, do what you can to get it soaked up before pulling the plugs.

check inside of the plug boots as well. i got water there once too, and it sucked.

This is what I've been wondering. Did you guys remove all your splash guards under the bumper and wheel well liners?

I've kept all of my stock guards on and even in heavy rain driving, my CAI stays fairly dry. I think I would have to submerge the filter end to suck up water.

well, the previous owner of my car took them all off, cuz it was air bagged w/ 18s and they rubbed. i put them back on

Yeah that's what I was wondering. The wheel liner is still there. The puddle did rip off some of my lower plastics (when i got home the front plastics were bent to hell), but I don't see how THAT much water could have got in there.

It's still knocking but it seems like it is running ok. I will pull the plugs in the morning and see what I can find. :happysad:
