i bought my civic with a skunk2 short shifter in it. The shifter is the same height, if not higher, then the stock shifter but the throws are shorter. I ripped that P.O.S. out and bought a B&M for about 40 bucks The thing is great. Its half the height of the skunk2 one and the throws are shorter. it gives the interior a sporty look and its dirt cheap.

Skunk2 is very good. And yes the height is the same as the stock one. But as it's supposed, it throws much shorter.

I have the Skunk 2. It feels great and the throws are very short.

You will get a mixed bag of reviews among short shifters. Many swear by Skunk2 and have had issues with B&M and vice versa. It is mostly a preferencial thing, so go with whatever you feel is best as long as it isn't a crappy ebay one.

i think im going to get the b&M one does it come with the everything you need when you buy it? meaning bushings i guess. i like skunk 2 products but i want the sport look i guess so i want one with a short handle. DO you guys know if the move around alot from side to side, i bought this p o s and it moved side to side when i was in gear lol.

same thing happened to me.. i bought a shifter off ebay... they gave the rubber washers or watevers... it was a b**ch to put on.. the shifter moved side to side because the bolt connecting the shiftlinkage to the shifter had a gap in between them because they never gave me the metal bearings to fill in the gap...so yeah all u have to do is tighten the nt n bolt till the shifter doesnt move while in gear...

B&M sucks. Everyone that I have known that had one could not stop it from rattling, including myself. I went with the Skunk2 dual-bend and never looked back. h:
