my motor (like i said) is the d15. '94 w/ juss over 150k on it. a local shop that does turbos said i couldn't go past 5lbs of boost or i'd be risking a big problem i'm thinking if i get a new crank, rods, & pullies i cn push closer to 9 or 10. could i go higher? they said they could do a decent turbo kit for $2500. includes everything i'd need to pick it up, turn the key, and go race. whatcha think?

no. what i meant was they say thats the Top Speed. why would it top out in third? i've had it to 115 in 4th, and my mods couldn't have added that much of a gain in performance could they? or is it like the "muscle car era", where companies lowballed the performance to keep insurance rates down?

they advertise it as 92mph TS, and that it hits it in third. it just doesn't make since that it would stop accelerating through 4th & 5th.

What he got is what I call support mods. They do next to nothing when bolted on to a stock motor, but after some internal modification the gains will be obvious.

I would guess low 16's.
