Not on that engine though... I did the committed thing on this engine... (sig pic)

Right now I'm scrambling to get another car because I sold my civic, and this is the car I'm driving every day. nervous. Polished stuff is so hard to keep up. You can't drive it in the rain or it will take you a whole weekend to fix the damage caused by wet road filth coming in contact with the hot engine. You can get it trapped with clear by a powder coating shop, or use ZoopSeal, but it's either expensive or troublesome to keep it up. Not recommended for the daily driver. Chrome would hold up better.

I took photos for a DIY, but never posted them. I'd do it now, but I'm off to look at a new project car.

I told him I'd re-bling it for him for nothing.

I've got a spare black CX valve cover if he wants to do that.

Yes. This year at DSMCA's GT-8 event, I took home 3 trophies with it. I took 3rd runner up in "Go Fast With Class" for pimping a shiny 12.67@107mph. Took the first place "King Of Bling" with a big ol' trophy which is crazy. And completely lost it when I was handed best of show. I thanked all the really fast guys for not showing up this year. One of the guys from the shop that painted my car drove 140 miles to represent it.

After all that, I won the grand prize in the raffle. It was a www.dsmlink.com . It had to be the best day of my life (and I'm old).

you should put your heatshield on dude. I have seen the oem header crack countless times when people hit a puddle of water.

valve cover is nice though.
