Honda Civic 95 overheating
The a/c of my car was broken so I took it to an auto shop to have them replace it. Now my car gets really hot and I cannot drive it until cool off. Does anybody have an idea what is going on with my car now?
Thanks!!
Thanks!!

both fans are not kicking on, check to see if the hi pressure switch is plugged in, its along the skinny ac line. Or better yet. what did they replace. if the evap core then they did not run heat whilst burping the system. I would check both of these in order

The water pump was changed a year ago along with the timing belt. I changed the termostat, my radiator fan switch, radiator cap, and rad flush, without success. At least the radiator fan doesn't seems to be kicking all the time even when the car is really hot. Last time I try to tested after I changed all this parts the rad cap blew up.
I will try to find the hi pressure switch and make sure is plugged.
I know the changed the compressor and fix couple of things but I'm not 100% sure if the eva core was change. I have to look in the paper work
Wish me luck!

I didn't have any luck with the sugestion.
I changed the radiator fan motor but didn't help. Is it possible that the car have a bad temperature gauge? I noticed that the radiator fan takes too long to kick on. When the fan runs it does for a short period of time.

Your problem is most likely the ECT/CTS in other coolant temp sensor located by where you replaced your thermostat. You pull the connector of the CTS and run the car and the fan should stay on. The check engine light will come on because the ECU does not recieve any signals from the CTS. But if this corrects your problem then replace the CTS. I believe the thermostat should fully open at 198 F so feel both hoses to make sure they are both hot meaning you have good circulation. Hope this helps.

just splice a piece of wire onto ur power going to the fan and then run a wire directly to the battery. if that fixs it, then u can either trace down why the fan wasnt turning on, or be like me and just wire a switch into your car, and draw power from the fuse box to complete the circuit with the fan.

I just changed the radiator and the car seems to be doing well. Hopefully this will be the end of my overheating problems. I will check the ECT/CTS, relays and fuse box to be sure everything else is working properly.
Thanks for your help in this matter.
