as much as your wallet can support. you can do bolt ons and be around 130-140whp. or go all out and have 200+whp.

then it would probably be beter to get a b18c5.........what i want is to put a powerful cost effective engine(is there such a thing?!) in a 92 civic hatch.

most powerful drop in and go swap would probably be an h22. although its not exactly drop in and go. :chuckles:

a b18c1 would be a good candidate. great potential for power and not too pricey.

i have talked to some people about the H22A and it is something i am not interested in .......too much to install ends up being the same amount of $ for a b18c5 with the labor. Well what about turbo on a b16a 2. The reason i ask b/c i can get a 92 si hatch with a b16a2 and the guy was going to put a turbo on it but he needs the money more than the car now.

Personally, I'd buy the car with the b16 in it just because it already has a pretty decent motor in it. Then all you would have to do is turbo it and you'd have a nice car.
