Turbo for 97 EX??
#22
I have a 94 Civic Ex w/ stock internals and an automatic tranny. My best time at the track so far is a 14.75 @ 96.43 mph w/ bald tires and bad spark plugs. Im running the greddy kit at 8 psi and putting down 186 hp and 178 lbs. of torque. My 60 ft. times were high beacuse of my bad spark plugs...I was having trouble building boost off the line. With new tires and new spark plugs Im shooting to run a 14.4. My tranny is still stock, I havent upgraded to a performance torque converter. So any of you w/ an auto who were thinking about going turbo...do it, you'll be a lot faster than you'd expect. If you have any questions about my setup, instant message me sometime...also check out my car at www.slowmotionmotorsports.com

I was hoping intercooled @ 8 psi i would hit 180 whp and 180 torque...I have a 00 ex 5spd. What were your 60 foot times like and what were your trap speed. With 180 WHP i'd expect AT LEAST a 14 flat...our cars only weigh about 2500 pounds or so. Good luck with the spark plugs, i'd just run the NGK copper 2 step colder than stock ones....what kind of fuel mangement are you using?
