You guys it all depends on what you want to do!
If you want a turbo for power, t3/t4 or mega power t04, however id never put a t4 on a ex.

And you see, 2800 full boost is NOT a good thing if you ask me. You will be running fullbost 100% of the time on the freeway, not the best thing in the world. But thats just me.

I would stick with greddy though cause the drag, fmax, and revhards all use a t3/t4 and it takes FOREVER to spool up on a small EX motor. I am going to turbo my 00 ex next weekend. I'm just waiting for my fuel management....BTW i got an Apexi ball bearing turbo, it's supposed to hit full boost by 2800.

If you are interested i can get the Greddy kit for 1550+shipping brand new. That is probably the easiest and best designed kit for your car...the Apex is probably the only one that is better but it doesn't come with anything besides the piping, manifold and turbo so i'd stay away from it...plus it's expensive.
It's nice to know that he recommeded a torque converter rather than telling you to get a manual. :yay:

I'm glad he recommended that too! I'm tired of hearing people tell me to get rid of it and get an SI or a Type-S....thanks!

I was thinking about that too....i guess i can just turn the boost down with a boost controller. I suppose it's better than waiting till 5000 rpms in 1st gear to get any boost

wait, so the JRSC adds 140 hp and 140 tq? or are these the company's "claims"? also, is it reasonable to say like 80hp gain from a greddy turbo on a EX? how much more hp will the intercooler will gain?

no no no the jrsc does not ADD 140 hp and torque it makes your car 140 hp and 140 torque. Haha if it added 140 whp then your car would be like 250 whp....And yes it is unreasonable to say that you would gain 80 whp from a greddy turbo. At 6 psi on a greddy turbo or jrsc you will probably gain about 30 whp...a bolt on ex should be around 110-115 whp....
