Great! Thats good to hear you are trying to solve it. I don't really notice mine anymore h:
It's just my passenger rear side. I think that a very thin peice of rubber would fix the problem, and I honestly don't think it would hurt performance in a noticable way as long as the rubber insert wasn't thick like the factory one. Let us know how it goes cause I wouldn't mind fixing mine.

rubber insert install went great, the noise seems to be reduced but is still very evident. i dont know what more i could do. ehhh, it was worth a shot. maybe ill think of somthing better. as for now i guess i have to deal with it. oh by the way im getting an alignment tomorrow and when on the phone with NTB today they told me it was $105. im gonna argue with them because i dont see how a regular alignment differs much from one on a lowered vehicle. they said there was a price difference if the vehicle was lowered. anyone have some solid points i can make in my arguments. i dont know too much about alignment processes and how they differ from regular height vehicles to lowered ones. plus my car isnt all that lowered. i still have 6 inches of clearence behind the front tire and 6.5 in front of the rear tire if taking measurments from the side moldings.

They just have to put more effort into getting it into spec.

i noticed today after filling my tank that the noise was significantly reduced and only rears its ugly head on the worst bumps. very interesting. could it be that the shock itself is making this noise when at full extension but when compressed a bit it dosnt have any play?
