update: oem spec muffler without oem look
After asking the forum's opinion, I went out and bought myself the Apexi World Sport II Universal muffler. I didn't get the full cat-back since it cost another $200-250. I spent about $214 on just the universal muffler and used the stock piping. The result is a very quiet subtle sound. It's almost a stock sound with a quiet hum around 2000 rpms. When pushed to around 5000 rpms it's has a deep sound to it. Overall, It was worth the $214 investment. It was twice as big and was a better choice in everyday driving compared to theTanabe Hyper Medallion Universal Muffler I previously had in my car. Here are some pictures of it. Not the best quality, it's from the camera on my phone. I'll try and get another shot of the new Apexi tomorrow so you can compare it with the Tanabe.
Here's the link to the place where I got it.
