when civic type r s were released (the hatches) what was the kind of market they were aiming to sell the car to? i know the question is vauge, i will alter it based on the replies i get, so i can prove/disprove my point.

rolf. so according to you the civic typeR or any civic model was not released to be driven anything close to a sports car, but just an economical car? (i know that the hx/dx/lx/ex was for those kind of drivers, but doesnt anyone think that the typeR was made for a racing platform?)

It was made for a person who wanted a minimalistic, suspension tuned car.
