the parts the mechanic is talkin about are aftermarket control arms in the front and rear. a honda, from the factory has no alignment adjustment other than toe on most models. these aftermarket parts are usually from specialty products. I use this company's products in most of my alignments ( im a mechanic) and yet to have any problems with or comebacks with them. but they are at a premium though. 60 bucks to align a honda, all they did was set the toe, and let it go as we call it, unless they gave you a before and after printout of your car which shows what was adjusted, most shops use hunter machines to do alignments which DO have the capability to print, its just wether or not they did anything.

Once you do an alignment by a reputable shop, its usually good for the lifetime of a set of tires, if they properly adjusted the camber/caster/toe on all 4 wheels, unless you nail a curb pretty good.

called NTB, they will do it. didnt tell them that it was lowered so im just gonna bring blocks. what do i say when i get there if it is too low to get on the machine? just "i have blocks to get it on the machine?" my girlfriends brother is a honda mechanic and he said that becuse there are so many lowered vehicles around this area they just tell people when they call that they cant do it or else everybody and their brother would be down there. if you just show up the dont have any problem.

As I said check your local SCCA region. They should have a listing of shops that work on "race cars" or you can ask a member where they get their work done.
