Every manual I've read shows them pushing the pistons down with the crankshaft already removed. It may be obvious to you but you just saved me any time it would've taken to remove the crankshaft. The manuals always assume that a total rebuild is being done including the crankshaft.

The piston/ring/rod job just got easier.

honestly i'd rather just get my car back together & smoke the guy! but i'll try & get that on video for u too!

you can always take a piston out from the top.. just unbolt it and thats it... push it up with a screwdriver or something...
