Default Squeaky clutch pedal

My clutch pedal (or something related) squeaks a lot when I depress it, like there isn't enough grease somewhere. Is this a common problem and what's a typical fix? (I really don't want to just be shooting grease in random places... too messy)

Common problem, with no real fix, other than changing the throw outbearing
