Default removing decals\stickers from body

The previous owner had alot of decals\stickers on the car, now I need to remove them. Whats the best way of doing this without jacking up the paint?

I know amonnia is used to remove them from windows, but will amonnia fuck up the paint or should I use it?

Thanks.

Peanut Butter?

I would more than likely take it to a body shop for removal. If you do choose to remove them yourself, get a blow dryer or heat gun being careful not to leave it in one spot for more than 5-10 seconds of direct heat. To clean up the residue I use 3M Adhesive Remover. But, with a body shop who has done it a lot, you have less chance of ruining your clearcoat/paint.

just spray the sticker good, and wait about 5 minutes, with the tissue work on the edges of the sticker, it has worked for me.

I put bumber stickers on when the car is dirty, that way they peel right off and leave a clean paint job lol...

I would never put that on your paint.

PB makes something specific for stickers called Blaster Products Decal & Sticker Remover. You really want to put something on your car that you use to break bolts loose?
