Default B16A Headers

What do you think would be better for a B16A, 4-2-1 or 4-1? I ask because the B16 has a lot of top end power and not a lot of low end power. I know 4-2-1 is good to give you low end power. I wanted to balance everything out. I personally have used 4-1 headers on a d series motor and didnt feel a difference.

top power go 4-2-1. i today infact put 4 21 headers on my modddled d15b1. It has a crispier sound and it definately meant for the 4000-7000 range.

ok well I want to improve the low end power, the car has good high end power. I know 4-1 headers are usually 4000+rpm and 4-2-1 is like 1000-4000 rpm

1 to 4. no way. flow is increased , less backpressure is less low rpm torque.

high, these are high spooling motors. use it. go 4-2 by taking the lower header, running 2 pipes straight down till after the rear wheels, have cats for mufflers. hehe
