-+, I think there is a miniscule change in advancing your gear or retarding it. It may not makde a 20 hp gain, but one by one will add up. I should have bought a hemi.

What does that have to do with buying another set of cam gears? :uhhok:

Honda engines already are hemi engines. It may not be a perfectly hemispherical combustion chamber but pretty darn close to it. Gees, no wonder there's so more horsepower in such a small engine. BTW, the 1st hemi was made for Jaguar in 1948.

I have yet to see you give ANY intelligent advice.

Like was said before me, all cam timing and gears are for is to facilitate tuning, they are not meant as a bolton power-adder.

tuning will bring out the power your engine is capable of producing. provided you have done the necessary mods that will see the benefits of tuning.

B-series heads are a perfect Hemi head, the actual Mopar hemi head is not. I think it just refers to the spark plug location.

i thought the hemispheric reaction is how the air was handled in the carb to intake? like a 3 stage system?

well when my motor was still a b16a2 i added cam gears and tuned out a 8whp gain. Now I have S2S2 cams, and everything else done to my head, but I'm not useing the cam gears! Go figure. Next tuning I'll adjust them and change my vtec engagement point. Moral is that cam gears do help ONLY with tuning, but you dont need new cams to see results.

It helps tune more efficiently, it gives you a greater window of tuning, per se.

It won't give you power out of the box, like an intake or headers.
