what is it with the honda b and d engines burning hole in the exhaust valve , mine was cyl 3. My Acura, them valves got smacked on before and still worked. never replaced a valve in my acura for 209,000 hard life miles.

d15b1,+.70 polished head,piston,rods,crank, 4.2.1. ex fresh cat, 2.5in flow out 2 cherry bombs .stock air with tornado. no choke plate, no filter on secondary, new fuel pump aem camgear. Crappy brakes.

 

lol.. yeh, if I want to go fast, I've got other toys to do it in (much easier). My EG's a mile eater for work.

 

140k miles boosted running 8 psi, soon to be 10 psi without any problems besides worn rings that were replaced. Consider yourself lucky that you didn't have to replace valves when they hit the pistons. When my head came off, there was minimal carbon buildup considering the mileage. Gotta love Honda quality.

 

actually when i rebuilt my engine, a valve stuck, too tight smacked for a fe minutes so i revved it out of o fkn well attitude, it idles fine
