Blower motor does not run at all - 1993 Civic DX
Currently my blower motor does not run at all.
On two seperate occasions earlier this year, the blower motor would not run on a cold morning, but then it would run the next day and continue working for weeks.
On the third occasion that the blower motor would not start, it has never come backup after several weeks.
I can't find any blown fuses in the driver's side interior fuse box. I never heard any grinding or scraping, and I never smelled or saw smoke. I also never lost certain speeds, such as every speed except high. The situation would always be that the motor was working at all speeds the night before, but on no speeds the next morning.
I had what I thought was an unrelated issue with the illumination on the A/C control slide not coming on until I would slide it back and forth a couple of times. Although this didn't occur at the same time, I'm wondering if I just have a loose connection somewhere in that panel, but I'm not sure if the fan speed is an electrical switch itself or if it works via a cable-mechanism as the temperature slide seems to.
Any ideas?

Electrical troubleshooting manuals are only about $40 from Helms, you should invest in one.
Blower motors tend to fail instantly and not randomly start working again. The brushes wear to the point that they slip out and jam themselves in the motor as to freeze it, that's what happened to mine.
