Default engine swap D13b2 for a D16Y8

im lookin for eny help on how to swap my D13B2 engine in my 95 eg hatch to a D16Y8 fram a 96 civic eny help on all aspects of this swap would be apreciated

all you really would need is the motor, wiring harness, and ECU. its basically a bolt in swap i believe. if you're looking for an ECU i have one from a D16Y8.

i was told
Engine is obd2 but ya car is wired obd1. So if ya do the swap you will require a harness to plug in the ecu. And there will be other probs


what prob's ?/

cant seem to find much info on this swap help plz starting to worry about wireing

oh shoot, i didnt realize you have an OBD1 car, i didnt see the 95 :doh: i dont really know how or if you can swap that motor. im guessing you might need an OBD2 engine harness and OBD2 ecu (p2p) from a 96-98 civic EX.

you should go witha D16Z6 its SOHC VTEC, its from 92-95 civic ex - OBD1

yea the Z6 swap would have a lot less hassles to deal with.
