it would be a safe bet it will hold up better then the beaks or the bsq kits, where its only reinforced only at the boltin holes, rather the aspec plate is a complete one piece to evenly distributed the load. its a winner.

srr sway bar kit comes with a tie bar that kinda reinforces the subframe... not as good as the asr plate, but much more affordable

what about putting a 99-00 SI sway bar on a 97 EX... will my subframe hold or will it rip apart?? or can I put a 94 GSR sway bar without any mods?? and will it hold or rip apart?? which one of these two is better??

in ur case it wil be fine, those r dinky sway bars and will not harm ur subframe. the si bar is 13mm and the gsr is 14mm.

i was going to do this soon, but because i have to buy the plate also, it will be put on the back burner... im going with the ST or progress bar and the a spec plate... i guess i am sure i wont have any issues with those....

so those SI or GSR swaybars are not good??? what should I buy then for my 97 EX.... SSR, A-spec, beaks????

I have the Comptech tie/sway bar. No problems after a year or autocrossing. Definitely a better improvement over my stock Si sway bar.

wow, thats just about the worst tearout I've seen :eek3: Maybe I should start thinking about those plate thingies... I haven't had any problems with my beaks so far, but... :ugh:

the left side looked perfect, but out of fustration I hit it with a small hammer, and found spider cracks that opend up 2 inches in 3 different directions.. if your under your car sometime, ide just check up on it...
