I call insane :bs: on a 12.5 out of the mods you stated above....those would maybe hit 14.....Josh hit a 12.6 runnin 13 pounds of boost on a well prepped GSR motor.

Id still like to know how he ran consistent times with the SAME setup after switching to a heavier car.... h:

im pickin up my EG hatch next week (cuz my teg got trashed thanks to an old lady)...anyways...
im gettin my EG shell...and doin my own K20A2 (type s motor)
the motors is gunna run about 3-3,600
the swap kit from hybrid-racing.com runs about 2,800 (comes w/ aem CAI and TSX DC Sports Headers...and of course fuel system, axles, EVERYTHING NEEDED)
for another 800 ship the ECU from the original engine, and they will KPro it...
since i plan on runnin major power...im addin another 300 for stage 2 axles...

what im gettin at...its gunna cost about your whole 7000 + change...but it's def worth it if done right...

stock K20A2 w/ i/h/e and a base map on Kpro will be runnin around 210whp...in a car that weighs around 2,200 lbs...DAMN!
then if u really wanna serious...cybernationmotorsports.com has amazing K series turbo kits...(im thinkin about the stage 2 kit later this summer...370whp)...the kits come with EVERYTHING AND MORE!!! (u'll jus need a custom exhaust mani cuz its made specially for the DC5 bay...and well that just wont fit...im sure that w/ a lil extra cash they'll hook u up w/ that and sum custom IC pipes to fit that EG)

basically its how much power ur aimin for and how much u wanna be unique...K series definately has the potential for bein the "New B18C5"...its jus how much work u wanna put into it...MY $00.02s

PS...if u find a K20A2 (late 02-now...) they come w/ S2000 valve springs which r badass from the factory...

So where are u getting the engine for 3.6K

actually the k20a2 that he is refering to is from the Type S....soooooooit didnt come fram japan...:exnbp:

EXACTLY...the HONDA ITR is K20a...Type S is k20a2...base rsx and civic si is the k20a3...then u get into the k24s w/ the TSXs...if u want to go N/A...then go w/ the k20a...but since im plannin on boost...k20a2 is my pic...the itr has hella crazy compression.
