$350-$399: Axles
$350-$399.00: refabricated hasport header/ or TSX header
$300: wiring harness
$575: Kpro
Golden eagle rail $125.00
Fuel Lines $225.00
Fuel Regulator $200.00

BLAH BLAH lots of other little things here and there... But i highly highly doubt your friend got a K20 Type R engine and had it installed for less than 4K....

i can do this swap myself also, but with all the things needed that i would need to get it running, i know ill spend atleast 6.5K on engine/parts alone just to get it running the right way. No half assing it

*NOTE THOSE PRICES ARE FROM WHAT IVE SEEN, THEY MAY BE CHEAPER BUT NOT USUALLY BETTER*
Not to mention most shops can't get that swap done in 2 days. Estimates I've seen are from $8K-$10K ($10K includes the labor involved)

If I were you, I would build the z6, turbo, put a suspension under it, wheels and tires, and take it to have it tuned. You will be under your money mark, and be able to run 300+whp daily with no problem.

Must be nice to have that much to play around with...IMO do a B16 or B18C1. Have your windows tinted, suspension, exhaust, intake, headers, get some cam gears, cams etc...Dont waste your money on just a swap. You can also, get some JDM items amber corners,JDM H's.System. Theirs so much you can do for 7K.Trust me you can also have some wheels if you choose. Yes,the K motor would be nice, but you can get a B18C5 Type R motor if thats the case & still have plenty of money left over for some of the items I've listed....Good Luck

oh nice these are all nice ideas. now, i didnt mention, i already have system, wheels, and have lowered it. so basically its in need of an engine. i like the sound of this k-series swap, as well as this z6. im just wondering how hard is it to get these engines put in? i dont want to have to cut away tooo much of the body. cuz its got to be a daily driver. im just looking to get some more horses to zip around in, and stand up to challenges, .

the z6 is already in you engine bay, just build it and boost it, way cheaper and just as fast, just as effective, and will turn easier with less weight in the front.
