Default Wtc...... B18...b20...b16...

I went by my bro's work the other day, which is at an impound yard. Well he showed me something most disturbing, there was a little covered area with about 15 DOHC engines laying there. I asked him when they go to auction, he said never. They were theift recoveries and since the serial or whatever was gone, they cannot be sold. So there are several engines that must rot because of some stupid catch 22.

I'd love to have all those parts at my disposal. Ask him to ask his manager or whatever to bring one home

no can do.... since they are stolen property if i got one, i would have a stolen engine that police would frown on (i know...if i got caught...). since they cant properly auction it off because of SN, it can never be leagaly sold again.

So the catch 22 is:
Can never be leagally sold, but can never be given away either.

i bought my motor from a junkyard and it has no VIN tag. and no one hand me BS about "well the junkyard stole it" cause it is a very legit place (and huge) even came with a 6 month warrenty and they knew exactally what car it came out of (had em labled by lot #'s.)

just go down and offer the guy a few bucks for some and see what he does, if not ask him if he's willing to part em.

i'll take a complete b16a head if you do that

that sucks, perfectly good DOHC engines just sitting in a row.
