I run them also, they are not great in the snow, but as long as you dont push your luck you are fine.

Other than that, they are a great tire.

wore out in four months? ur alignment must be really off because i daily drive on mines for 10 months about 50 miles a day, and still had about 30-40% tread left when i sold my rims with them, and thats with a set -1 camber all around. i hydroplanted them a few times, only because i ran over puddles of water, happens to almost all tires. otherwise, i kept em on for the entire winter. as long ur goin at a reasonable speed, u will be fine.

azenis are good tires and i wouldnt hestitate to pick up another set, i drive em hard all the time, the grip is excellent, even when its cold out. my car doesnt have alot of hp either, but for u to have em wore out in 4 months is unusual. with proper alignment they last long.

As for the 512's i have heard good things about them and may be going with them this time.Looking for a good all around tire which from what i have heard seems like they are for the price.

Agreed. My brother ran them on his old prelude and I have them on my E30. With proper alignment, they are fine. They are also fine in the rain until they start to wear down. Then just like with any other tire, wet traction is compromised. One complaint about the azenis is that they overheat easily and become greasy. This is after several autox runs or during a trackday though.

My alignement was/is fine.It was properly done.I have had 3 sets of tires on since i had the car aligned, the Azenis being in the middle. I had new nittos when i first got the car aligned, they lasted 2 seasons. The Azenis lasted, like i said 4 -5 months.I currently have stock 13's on the car, just like the Nittos the stock tires are fine.
I have not touched my alignment since the car was aligned the first time.I dunno if i just had bad luck or what.

How do these compare with Yokohama ES100? I have the yoko's for my daily driver and I like 'em. Not too much noise, lot's of streetable grip, and so far (15000 miles) the wear isn't bad. These grip pretty well in the rain too. Never driven snow, but I know they suck in it.

Anyways, it feels like I just put these tires on yesterday and already I've run about half the rated life of the tire.

I'm sponsored by Falken and I'll have to say that the Azenis are a great tire. But like ANY tire on the market when you wear down the tire ANY tire will hydroplane - DUH!

These tires LOVE to be cold though. This is why you will see everyone in the street tire class watering down these tires to keep them cold. In the winter time many regions change the PAX for our classes because we're faster when it's cold.

I got about 40 autocrosses, 10,000 miles out of my 3 sets of Azenis. If your tires are wearing that quick it's not the tire but your alignment. My alignment is 0 toe front and rear and -3.0 negative camber front and -1.5 back.
